against Northea"t ~1issis sippi Community Colle~e in Decatur. Chaney b a 2005 honor graduate of ECCC and an academic Hall of Fame selection. She is recognized as the col– lege's only two-sport All– American (basketbaJI/softball) and was selected a National Junior College Athletic Association Academic All-American. Chaney fin– ished second in the NJCAA Female Athlete of the Year competition. Prior to joining the ECCC staff as assistant softbaJI coach in 2009, Chaney attended the Uni– vcr.;iry of Southern Mis– sissippi. where she received master's and bachelor·s de~ees in sport.; administration in 2008 and 2007, respec· t ively. She was also a standout member of the Lady Eagle basketball and softball teams.
DECATUR-Third– vear East Central Com– munity College head soft– ball coach Kristin Tuesday when her Lady Warriors shut out Pearl River Community Col– lege 9-0 in the second game of a doubleheader on the Decatur campus. Since taking over as East Central's coach in 2013, the Little Rock graduate's teams have compiled records of 31- 17 in spring 2013, 33-16 in spring 2014, and are 36-8 in the s pring 2015 campaign.
