Freshman Jordan Walton scored his first collegiate goal for the Eagles in the opening minutes of the second half to bring the match to a 1-1 tie. The match would head into a pair of extra sessions and Walton would score hls second goal of the day in the second extra session to propel the Eagles to the one-goal victory over ECCC. MCC will return to the field with another pair of home games on Tuesday by hosting Itawamba Community College at C.D. Smith Field. The women will take to the field at 5 p.m. and the men will follow with their scheduled match at 7 p.m.
