ECCC to hold registration f~r electrical technology progratn
East Central Community College in Decatur will be reg– istering students for its Electrical Technology Program on Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Louisville CareerAdvancement Center. ECCC is now offering courses in its Electrical Technology Program at the Louisville Center beginning this fall . College officials will be available from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Aug. 13 at the center located at 923 South Church Street to help students register for fall 2015 courses. The for-credit courses, which can lead to an Associate of Applied Science degree, are offered via video conferencing, with a tech facilitator in the Louisville CareerAdvancement
Center to assist with questions and hands-on course work and demonstrations. Courses include Fundamentals of Electricity, AC and DC Circuits for Electrical Technology, Residential and Light Commercial Wiling. Blueprint Reading and Electrical Pov.er. The Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Technology prepares o;tudents to be employed by indu~tries both large and small, b) clectn cal power companies, and in the construction industry.
