ECCCinvites public to'Meet the Warriors'
The public is invited to "Meet the Warriors" when East Central Community Col– lege hosts its annual pep rally and player introductions for 6:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 24, at Bailey Stadium on the De– catur campus. ECCC President Billy Stew– art will welcome the antici– pated large crowd for the event and provide comments about the upcoming athletics seasons. Performing groups include the Wall O' Sound Marching Band, Centralettes and the Warrior cheerleading squad. Members of ECCC's men's golf, men's and women's soc– cer, and football teams will be introduced by their coaches. The men's and women's soccer teams begin fall action at 1 and 3 p.m., respectively, on Friday, Aug. 21, at Merid– ian Community College. The 2015 edition of theWar– rior football team begins its fall season on the synthetic turf of Bailey Stadium on the ECCC campus at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 27, against Mississippi Delta. The public is invited to attend. Admission isS7. The men's golf team begins play Sept. 12-13 at a Missis– sippi Association of Commu– nity and Junior Colleges event at Eag\e Ridge Golf Course in Raymond.
