Receiving special recognition at East Central Community College's 2015 Homecoming celebration held Oct. 17, were (from left) newAthletic Hall of Fame members president and chief executive officer of USLC, U£ Thomas Hannah (Class of 1958) of Spartanburg, S.C., and former East Central head football coach Dan Chatwood (Class of 1958) of Fairhope, Ala., longtime educator Polly Matthews Gordon (Class of 1954) of Union, Alumna of the Year, and Laurel Family Cllnlc physician Dr Jack Evans (Class of 1972) of Laurel, Alumnus of the Year. Copper 'etchings of each honoree are also s hown and wUl be permanently displayed in the College's MemorablllaRoom located in BurtonMe– morial Library. The awards presentations were made at the annual alumni luncheon held in Mabry Memorial Cafeterla on the Decatur campus.
