Honored at national conference East Central Community College business technology Instructor Christy Ferguson, left, and her daughter, sopho· more Leah Ferguson, both of Philadelphia, received special recognition at the National Phi Beta Lambda Cont ere nee held earlier this summer In Nashville. Christy Ferguson was recognized as PBL Adviser of the Year in Mississippi, and Leah was selected for Who's Who In Phi Beta Lambda for Mississippi. Leah also placed 14th with other Theta Chi chapter members In the Small Business Management Plan competition. The Fergusons have been affiliated with FBLA· PBL for a combined 20 years. Several students represent ing the two-year college In Decatur also received honors at the annual competition. In addition, Theta Chi was one of only two state chapters to receive the prestigious Gold Seal recognition.
