ECCC flzeta Xi Chapter
These outstanding East Central Community College students were induct ed into Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the International honor soci ety for two-year colleges, at the annual PTK Fall Induction Ceremony held Monday, Sept. 22 in the Vickers Fine Arts Center on the Decatur campus. New members of the prestigious organization include front row, from left, Samantha Morgan, Louisville; Kaylee Yates, Decatur; Jamey Kinard, Louisville; and Faith Emmons, Lake; second row Nikki Triplett, Forest; Kelsey Smith, Louisvllle; Aaren Avera, Hickory; and Alana Knowles, Decatur; and back row, Brooke Smith, Noxapater; Justin Moore, Kosciusko; and Joshua Parker, Foxworth. Not pictured are inductees Mikayla May of Chunky and Justin Marcangell of Philadelphia. Casie Page, student pastor at Northcrest Baptist Church, served as guest speaker. He was also inducted as an honorary Theta XI member and adviser. ECCC President Dr. Billy Stewart and Vice President for Instruction Dr. Teresa Houston also provided remarks and congratulated Inductees. Workforce education counselor Amanda Walton, math instruc tor Jenna Wright, and drafting and design technology instructor Chris Ryals serve as Theta Xi Chapter advisers. (EC Photo)
