ECCC Hall of Fame, others recognized
Recipients of Hall of Fame and other honors were recog nized during the annual Awards Day program held May 1, at East Central Community College in Decatur. Selection to the Hall of Fame is considered the highest honor
The Dean's List Scholar with a 3.8 grade point average holds various leadership positions and is involved in numerous campus activities. She serves as sophomore class president and is a mem ber of Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year col leges. Gressett is very active in the college's music department'as a member of the Concert Choir, Ac'cents show choir, vocalist for the Collegians Rock-n-Roll band and the Centralettes, the Wall O'Sound Marching Band's dance team. She also is a member of the Diamond Darlings. In addition, Gressett was se lected for Who's Who Among Students in American Commu nity & ,Junior Colleges, fresh man class favorite, and freshman and sophomore homecoming maid. Gressett serves as a work study for the college's financial aid department. She received academic achievement recognition, ACT, Polk and Jennie Pace and Dis tinguished Young Woman scholarships at ECCC.
