ECCCart students win at state competition

East Central Community College art students e1iza betb Taflinger, left, of Lake and Chelsey Smith, mid dle, of Brandon display their winning artnork and prizes received during the MCJC/A!A (Mississippi Community and Junior College Art Instructors Asso ciation) State Competition/Exhibitlon. Taflinger re ceived a third place award for Three-Dimensional Design for her Linear Study and Smith captured a sec ond place award in Two-Dimensional Design for her Typography/ Color Scheme Study. Artwork submitted by community and junior college students from throughout the state was on display during M1irch on the campus of Northwest Mississippi Community Col lege in Senatobia.
