Students receive GED certificates
These Newton Cow1ty residents received high school equivalency diplomas during the semi-annual GED Graduation ceremony held March 20 at East Central Community College in Decatur. Eric Clark, executive director of the Mis sissippi Community College Board, served as guest speaker. ECCC President Billy Stewart awarded diplomas to graduates. Other program participants included f\oard of Trustees Chairman Jimmy Hollingsworth of Lake, Vice President for Instruction Teresa Houston and ABE/GED instructor Bryan Burt. ECCC offers free ABE/GED-prepara tion classes throughout the college's five-county district.
