:Better Newspaper Competition ,. The Tom-Tom, the student newspaper at East Central Community College, received second 'place in General Excellence at the Better Newspaper Competition Student Division, hosted by the Mississippi Press Association. William Stokes left, won first place winrer in the General Interest category. Conor Be , rignt, won first place winner of the investigative news category. Stokes graduated from Neshoba Central High School. He is the son of James and Susan Walker-Stokes. He is the 2013-2014 Tom-Tom Opinions Editor and contributing writer to the Wo-He-Lo. Bell graduated from Leake Central High School. He is the son of Robert and Sherry Bell of Carthage. He is the 2013-2014 Editor of the Wo-He-Lo., EC's yearbook. After graduating this May, Stokes will attend Delta State University as a political ·~lance major. Bell will attend Mississippi College as a music major.
