In the first game with Southwest, EC scored five runs in the top of the ninth for a 7-6 lead, only to have the Bears score twice in the bot tom of the frame to claim the victory. Chance Whitten led the Diamond Warriors with a triple and three singles. He was credited with three RBis. Other hitters were Hunter Thrower of Southeast Lauderdale and Zach May of Newton County, two singles and RBI; and Maxwell Harmon of Enterprise and Dylan Little of Mary G. Montgomery (Ala.)
