Turner and Buckley knocked in two runs each and Hopkins was credited with an RBI. Other hitters were Hayley Stephens of Union and Christen Benson of Porter homered and sin gled to lead the offensive attack. Also recordmg multiple hits were Buckley, double and single; and Turner and Hopkins, two singles each. Buckley led in RBis with three.

Hurlers Kendra Wilson and Megan Robinson were superb on the mound, as they combined efforts to reg ister a no-hitter. Starter Wilson went three innings and fanned seven batters. She also walked a batter. Wilson is a product of "' uth Lamar High School in _fillpon , Ala. Robinson pitched the final two innings. She is a prod act of Nanih Waiya High ::xhool. McBroom and Stephens each pounded doubles. Stephens was also credited with an RBI. Other hitters were Holsonback and Benson, who each singled and regis tered an RBI. Hurler Makayla Kelly went the distance in the five-inning battle. She fanned three batters while recording the shut out. She is a product of Nederland (Texas) High School. The Lady Diamond Warriors host Marion Military Monday, Feb. 17. Game times are 1 and 3 p.m. on the Decatur campus. EC's softball program is led by head coach Kristin Chaney, assistant Courtney Nunn and volunteer assis tant Kasie Buckley.
