Christa Wtlhite of Laud erdale was recently selected e Leaming coordinator at East Central Community College in Decatur. Wilhite. who recently began her new duties at ECCC, previ ously served as director of e Learning at the Holladay Cen ter for cLearning at Meridian Community College. Prior to assuming the direc tor's role, she served as eLeam ing support specialist for MCC. the University ofWestAlabama in 2005, Wtlhite continued her education by earning a Master of Science in Continuing Edu cation with emphasis in coun seling and psychology at UWA in 2006. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate ofPhilosophy in edu cational psychology from the University ofAlabama. She was a recipient of the Paul W. Teny Scholarship at UA in 2010-11 and the Trustee Scholarship at UWA from 2001-2004. Wilhite is married to Michael Wtlhite of Little Rock. She is the daughter of Joe and Janis Sayers of Lauderdale.
