0 Leslie K. White joins ECCC Financial Aid Department

Le lie K. White of Philadelphia was recently selected Financial Aid admin istrative assistant at East Central Community College in Decatur. White. who began her duties July 14, was previously employed at Newton County Bank in Ne\\ ton. The 2008 graduate of ECCC aid she was excited to return to her alma mater. "It feels like home to me," White said. "I was welcomed back with open arms."

Working the Financial Aid Department is something she said she is enjoying. "I love helping people and working with students," White said about her new position. In addition, she said she is excited to reunite with the ECCC family only this time, not as a student but as a mem ber of the college personnel. "I look forward to being able to work with and help students and to attend sport ing events on campus with my with

family," White said.

The Scott Central High School graduate is pursuing her bachelor's degree, which she plans to complete in December of this year, at Mississippi State University Meridian. White has been married to Matthew White for nine years. They have a six-year old daughter, Audri Ann. They are members of Longino Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where Leslie White works with the youth group.
