More than 450 graduates were scheduled to receive diplomas Saturday, May 10, when East Central Commu nity College held its 85th com mencement. The ceremony was held in the Neshoba County Coliseum in Philadel phia. Included in the total are those who completed degree requirements following the 2013 summer and fall terms, according to Teresa Houston, Vice President for Instruc tion. Those participating in the program included graduating sophomores Matthew Evans of Forest, who gave the invo cation; Mary Margaret Bailey of Philadelphia., commence ment speaker; and Chelsea Campbell of Forest, benedic tion. Clint Walker of Newton presented the musical selec tion "Go Light Your World." Houston presented candi dates for graduation and Col lege President Billy W.
