Phi Beta Lambda students and chapter advisers at East Central Community College 1n Decatur are doing the1r part to help raise funds for the March of Dimes. Their fundraising efforts mclude a friendly sales competition involving balloons, as explained by adviser Chnsty Ferguson: "In the event that the students sell the most balloons, they will be given the opportunity to blast water balloons at the advisers; however, if the advisers succeed in raising the most money, they will get to see the chapter officers get soaked as students and facutty line up to throw water balloons at them!" Ferguson said balloons are $1 each with proceeds designated for the March of Dimes. Fundra1sing efforts continue through Oct. 31 . The water balloon-drenching event is scheduled Thursday, November 8.
