ECCe WINS.AT PBL NATIONALS
Students representing East Central Community College in Decatur received honors at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference held earlier this sumrrier in San Antonio, Texas. Kayla Dickerson of Union, second from left, placed 12th in Sales Presentation and Tori Mcinnis, also of Union, (far right) finished 12th in Strategic Analysis and Decision Making. Also representing ECCC were chapter adviser Thomas Fortenberry, left, and his son, participant Tanner Fortenberry, center, and adviser Stella Dickerson, all of Union. Tanner Fortenberry qualified for national competition after winning first-place honors in Business Presentation at the state contest. Not pictured is Rachel Alexander of Philadelphia, who placed 1Oth in Local Chapter Annual Business Report. Students who place first or second in their respective categories on the state level advance to the national contest. Thomas Fortenberry was also recognized as PBL Adviser of the Year in Mississippi. Phi Beta Lambda is an organization for business students.
