Sophomore Bobbi Schwebel of Newton is the recipient of the Myr– tle Hutchison Scholar– ship at East Central Community College In Decatur. This scholar– ship is awarded to a member of the Student Education Association and was established by Myrtle Fikes Hutchison who retired from the field of education after a 30- year career. -

Ad~nna Seger (center), a graduate of Newton High School, Is the recipient of the Ovid S. and Carol VIckers Scholarship at East Central Community College In Decatur. The scholarship was es– tablished In 1999 by former students and friends of the VIckers (also pictured) 1n honor of their lifetime of devotion to East Cen– tral.
