Scott County Residents Receive Supervisors' Scholarships Scott County residents (from left) T) ler Patrick. a graduate ofMorton High School, Emily Pnce. a graduate of Sebastopol High School. and Kelsey Cox. a graduate of Forest High School. are recipients of the Mississippi Association of Supervisors Scholarship at East Central Community College in Decatur. The scholarships were established in 1996 by the Mississippi Association of Supervisors for each of the state'!> IS community/junior col– leges. They are awarded to three fulJ-time students from each county in the ECCC district. The award« were presented during the annual AT&T Scholarship Awards Program held June 8 in IluffAuditorium.A luncheon was held in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria fo llowing the awards ceremony. During the 2012 event, 136 students received 111 endowed or annual scholarships totaling approximately $74.000 in value. (EC Photo)
