Cullen is a member of the ECCC Players and was a cast member for the 2010 fall dinner theater performance of "Smoke on the Mountain" and 2011 spring musical produc– tion, "All Shook Up." He rece1ved numerous ; scholarships to attend .. ECCC, including Dr. Margaret Mosal, Ann Burkes PTK. Dr. Shelby L. Harris Memorial, Landon Bryan Burt Memorial, Pleas Clayton and Aman– da Breazeale Blount Memorial and ACT. Cullen was named to Who's Who Among Stu– dents in American Junior Colleges. He is a 2010 honor graduate of Leake Aca– demy, where he partici– pated in numerous clubs and activities. He plans to major in chemical engineering at Mississippi State Univer– sity. His parents are Allen and Monica Cullen of Carthage.

Academic The annual program recognizes scholarly achievements and leader– ship accomplishments of students enrolled in the state's two-year colleges. This year's 54 honorees were recognized by the Mississippi Legislature and were guests at a luncheon at the Jackson Convention Center. Cullen, who was named to the 2012 All-Mississippi Academic Second Team, is a President's List Scholar with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. He was selected the College's Higher Educa– tion Appreciation Day: Working Toward Acade– mic Excellence Student of the Year for 2012 and was honored at the special pro– gram sponsored by the Mississippi Legislature and coordinated by tlie

CULLEN Mississippi Association of Colleges. He wat; chosen a fresh– man and sophomore class favorite. He serves as prestdent ofTheta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa,AlphaAlpha Epsilon. "The Engineers." and Baptist Student Union, and is an active member of the Astronomy and Environmental clubs, BSU's "The Way" and the Wesley Foundation.
