Bishop inks. witli ECCC

· Newton County High School softball standout Shelby Bishop (seated center) is shown signing a national letter of intent to continue her career in 2012-13 at East Central Community College in Decatur. Bishop, a catcher/ infielder, helped lead the Lady Cougars to six state championships in fastpltch and slowpitch competition during her career. Bishop's honors include her selection on the All-State Class 4A team and The Clarion-Ledger's All-State squad in 2011 and 2012.
