East Central Community College in Decatur was re– cently recognized as a Mili– tary Fri.endly School, according to G.I. Jobs maga– zine. With increasing bear numbers comes a need for increased un– derstanding about black bears. Because these animals have been absent from Mississippi for so long, little is known of their habits or how we can co exist \vith these shy and secretive ani– mals.
