Details for both schol– arships are currently being developed. Dr. Stewart said inter– est earned from the $2.63 million contribution will guarantee tuition for the freshman year for high school graduates from Leake, Scott, Neshoba, Newton and Winston counties who enroll at ECCC the fall semester tmmed1ately following high school graduation. The tuition guarantee scholarship is slated to begin in the fall of 2014 and will be used to "com– plete" the cost of tuition for the fall and spring semesters of the freshman year at ECCC. Slagle, 94, died May 11 in Evans, Ga. She owned and operated Carlson Travel Agency in Sebring, Fla. A Minter City, MS, native, Slagle attended Decatur High School and continued her education at East Central J unior College, where she was a member of the "Warrior- ette" basketball squad. ·· She received a degree in travel administration . from Columbia Univer sity in Columbia, MO. i
