Johnson receives scholarship Meghan Johnson (right), a 2011 graduate of Leake Acade– my, is the recipient of the Dr. Frank and Bobbie McPhail Bowen Scholarship at East Central Community College in Decatur:The award was presented during the annual AT&T Scholarship Awards Program held June 16 in Huff Auditori– um and followed by a luncheon 1n Mabry Memorial Cafete– ria. This scholarship was established by Dr. and Mrs. Bowen and is awarded to a graduate of a Leake County school, who finishes in the top 10 percent of their high school class and enrolls as a full-time student at ECCC the fall semester following high school graduation.
