She serves as co-vice president of membership for Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and vice pres– ident of the Student Educa– tion Association She is the recipient of the R~ Rigby emoriiil, Thomas W. Student named to Hall of Fame, others receive memorial, facul– ty awards SPECIAl TO THE TIMES DECATUR - Recipi– ents of Hall of Fame and other honors were recog– nized during the annual Awards Day program held May 5, 2011, at East Cen– tral Community College in Decatur. Selection to the Hall of Fame is considered the highest honor a student can receive at the College, according to Dr. Phil A. Sutphin, ECCC president, who presented the awards.
