ECCC Baseball Team Honors Harrison Ricky Harrison (second from left), longtime supporter of the East Central Community College baseball prow-am and career-technical facul– ty member, was honored during pre-game activities of the Warriors' reg– ular season finale with Southwest Mississippi CommunityCollege on April 28 a t the Clark/Gay Baseball Complex in Decatur. Harrison, who tossed the ceremonial first-pitch to begin the contest, was presented with a framed jersey that includes the number be wore as a pitcher/ third baseman on the 1976-78 squads. He was a standout'member on the Warrior football team as well. Harrison retired in May as drafting instructor after 29 years of service. Participating in the ceremony were (from left) Neal Holliman, head baseball roach; assistants Hunter Vick and Michael Avalon and sophomore Diamond Warrior J eremy May of Newton County High School. May, a sophomore catcher/ infielder/out– fielder, is a longtime friend of Harrison and was catcher for the ceremo– nial first-pitch.
