Mrs. Molly McGee (center) of Hickory was hon– ored for her 35 years of service on the cafeteria staff at East Central Community College during a ceremony March 1. The Gold Room, also known as the Faculty Dining Room, in Mabry Memorial Cafeteria was officially named in her honor during the special program. McGee, affectionately known as "Ms. Molly," currently serves as office manager and "official greeter" at the cafeteria entrance. George M. Ardelean (left), executive vice president for dining and health services at Valley Services, Inc., in Jackson, which operates the College' s food service, is shown presenting a commemorative clock to the longtime cafeteria staff member and provided comments about her dedicated service. Justin Ray Adcocl· of Conehatta and Virginia Faye "Jenny'' Holyfield of Uttle Rock were recently selected Mr. and Miss East Central Community College by a vote of the student body association. Adcock, the son of Ronnie and Kristi Adcock, is a 2009 graduate of Newton County High School and is a psychology and music business major. He is a member, of the East Central EmironmentaJ Club and was a member of the Wall 0' Sound Marching Band his freshman year. Holyfield is the daughter of John and Patsy Holytield and is a 2009 graduate of Newton County High School. A business administration major, she serves as vice president of the sophomore class and is a mem– ber of the ECCC Concert Choir, Phi Theta Kappa, President's Comu;il and Warrior Corps. --·-~--~
