Lauren 1\icholas Jed the offense with three hits- a double and two singles. She wa-. also credited with two RBls. Nicholas is a product of Neshoba Central High School. Also with multiple hits were Abbie Joiner of Neshoba Central, Summer Alexander of Newton County Kelsi Watson of Smithville and Chelsea Jones of Enterprise, two singles each. Alexander was the top run producer with three RBis. 1 ones knocked in two runs. Brittany Pounders of Southeast Lauderdale belted a triple and Taylor Bailey, who hails from Bowie High School in Austin, Texas. contributed a single. Pounders also collected two RBis and Bailey drove in a run. Runs were scored by Joiner (2), Bailey (2). Watson (2) and Nicholas, Alexander. Pounders, Jones, Kacic Buckley of Newton County and Haylee Roberts of Enterprise. Bailey picked up the win, allowing just four hits in the five-inning contest. She fanned six batters.
