ECCC Diamond Warriors Nationally Ranked East Central Com– munity College's baseball team has received national attention lor its success in the 2011 season. The Diamond Warriors are ranked 151]1 in the latest NJCAA Division II poll and represent the only Mississippi squad included in this week's rankings. East Central sports a 16-10 overall record and 5- 3 mark in the MACJC South Division prior to today's (Thursday) matchups with Jones County Junior Col– lege (17-9, 4-2). The division doubleheader gets under way at 4 p.m. at the Clark/ Gay Baseball Complex in Decatur. The Bobcats were previously ranked and re– ceived votes in this week's poll. The ECCC base– ball program is lt!d b} head coach Neal Holliman and assistants Michael Avalon. Hunter Vick and Jesus Aleman.
