ECC_C gospel choir reunion set
Former members of the East Central Community College Gospel Choir are invited to reunion activi– ties as part of the college's homecoming Saturday, Oct. 2, in Decatur. Brenda K. Johnson, longtime gospel choir sponsor, said a "meet and greet" at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Logan's Steak House in Meridian will start the reunion. The group is slated to meet at 1:30 p.m. Satur– day, Oct. 2, outside Bailey Stadium to attend the ECCC ·game with Hinds Community College. A rehearsal will follow at 6 p.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center in prepa-
ration for the gospel choir's reunion musical Sunday, Oct. 3, at 5 p.m. in the Vickers Auditorium. Johnson said partici– pants for the performance are asked to wear ECCC Gospel Choir Reunion T– shirts and jeans. "We are asking every– one who plans to perform in the choir to pay $20 to cover the cost of T-shirts and refreshments," she said.
