Kameron Boulton, a product of Newton County High School, is the 2010 t·ecipient of the Willis W. "Bubba" Smith ~1emorial Scholarship, pre– sented to an incoming freshman at East Central.

,Jamie Truhett of Little Rock is a 2010 recipient of The Weems Family Scholarship. Truhett, a returning sopho– more, is a prod– uct of Newton County High School.

Area students at East Central Community College in Decatur were amog those receiving scholarships that will enable them to contiue their college classes. The AT&T Schoalrship Appreieulion L:uncheon bas been a campus fixture since 2003.

Matthew Grillin of Union is the 2010 recipient of The Rev. John Lambert Neill Scholarship, pre– sented to a returning sopho– more at ECCC.
