ECCC Concert Choir, Ac'cents Auditions for the East Central Com– munity Colqe Concert Oloir and Ac'ccnts show choir wiD be bdd at 1 p.m. May 11,2010 in the VICkers Fine Arts. Auditorium. Participants may audition for one or both ofthe choiral groups. in the ECCC Concert Choir and those members receive a half tuition schol– arship. The Concert Choir performs music that ranges from the renaissance to contemporary music styles.
TheAc'cents is a 12-member group that dances and sings to music from various genres. Ac'cents members receive a full tuition scholarship and perform on campus and for commu– nity events and dubs. DirectVicki Blaylock said,"Students interested in auditioning forAc'cents, should prepare a solo for the audition and be ready to sight-read music and dance to choreognphy that will be taught on audition day." There are currently 57 members
· Those auditioning for the Concert Choir should be prepared to sight-read music, sing with an SATB group and match melodies. The concert choir is also under the direction of Blaylock. For more ioformation, contact Blaylock at 601- 635-6225 or vblaylock@eccc.edu.
