ECCC Concert Choir, Ac'cents Auditions Schedule May 11 Auditions for the Ea~t Central Community College Concert Choir and Ac'ccms show choir will be held at J p.m. May J I. 20 I0 in the Vickers Fine Arts. Auditorium. Partici– pants may audition for one or both of the choiral groups. The Ac'cents is a 12-member group that dances and sings to music from \ arious genres. Ac'cents members re– ceive a full tuition scholarship and perform on campus and for community events and clubs. Direct Vicki Blaylock said, "Students interested in auditioning for Ac'cents. should prepare a solo for the audi– tion and be ready to sight-read music and dance to' choreog– raphy that will be taught on audition day." There are current)) 57 members in the ECCC Concert Choir and those members receive a haJf tuition scholarship. The Concert Choir performs music that ranges from the re– naissance to contcmporal} mu!>iC styles. Those auditioning for the Concert Choir should be prepared to sight-read music. sing wtth an SATB group and match melodies. The concert choir is also under the direction ofBla) lock.
