ECCC Spring Band Concert set

An evening of musical entertainment is scheduled Thursday, March 11, 2010, when East Central Communi– ty College's Band Department presents its Spring Concert on the Decatur campus, annOtmcedThomas W. Carson, director of bands. The annual program begins at 7 p.m. in Huff Auditorium, and features performances by the coocen and jazz bands

and the percussion ensen1ble. One of the concert band's selections includes a "Pirates of the Caribbean" symphonic suite, and the percu sion ensemble will entertain with its "high energy rhythmic per– formance• and will even send listeners "back to school" dur– ing a special presentation,said jared Brownlee, assistant director, who conducts both group.
