P.l.N.C. Conference Twelve girls from the Winston-louisville Career 8r Technology Center recently attended the P.I .N.C. Conference(People in Non-traditional Careers} at ECCC. The girls had the opportunity to receive hands-on instruc· tion in careers traditional· ly dominated by males. At the end of the exciting and informative day, one student from the five· county consortia was drawn for a full tuition non-traditional scholar– ship at ECCC. Our own Madelyn Reed was cho· sen. Some non·tradional programs for females offered at the WLCTC are Building Trades, Agricul· tural Mechanics, Metal Trades, Automotive Tech· nology, Forest ry, and Drafting.
