ECCC CHILDCARE STUDENTS; STAFF SEND CARDS TO SOLDIERS
SUBMITTEDPHOTO These students and staff members at the East Central Community College childcare facility recently mailed candy and homemade Christmas cards to soldiers In Iraq and Afghanistan. The gift boxes were sent to Jemeris Payton, son of ECCC Early Childhood Education Direc– tor Debra Payton, who is stationed in Iraq and Dwayne Jackson, father of preschool student Lyric Jackson, who is stationed in Afghanistan. The children received e-mail photos of the soldiers after they received the cards and candy.
