McGee inks ECCC softball scholarship Eden McGee. seated center, a former softball standout at Nashoba Central High School, is shown sign ng a national letter of intent to continue her career at East Central Commumty College in Decatur. The talented third baseman received numerous honors throughout her career in slow-pitch and fast-pitcl:l competition. She was named to the Class 5A All-State Team in slow-pitch in addition to receiving All Division 3-SA honors. S e as atso named a M.A.C. All-Star and received team most valuable and best defen– s;ve player awards. McGee's honors in fast-pitch include her selection to the All-Division ~SA Team. She also received the team's best defensive player award. McGee batted 38J two triples. four doubles and collected 15 RBis for the Lady Rockets who won D c:: on 3-SA t1tle en route to an 18-9 record.
