Following Lee's trey - her th1rd of the evening - teammate Oanielle Cole was fouled after taking posses– sion on a Gulf Coast turnover, and made the ftrst of two free throw attempts with 8 9 seconds remaining. Lee, a Leake Academy product, led EC w1th 17 points and seven rebounds. Her 3-pointer with 22 sec– onds left cut the Gulf Coast
lead to 65-64.
Cole was the sccond-lead– mg scorer with 16 points.
