BASEBALL East Central hosting MVP Showcase

East Central Com11Junity College is hosting an MVP Showcase on the Decatur campus on Saturday, Jan. 23. giving high school baseball players an opportunity to display their skills. Final check· in and registration for the day's activities is set for 9 a.m. for posi· lion players and 11 :30 a.m. for pttchers. Those wanting to show– case skills as pitchers and position players should register at 9 a.m. Also scheduled are various exercises to prepare participants for the day"s events: pro-type workouts to test players' arm strength and fielding ability· batting practice for position players; bullpens for pttctters; and facility and campus tour Pre-regtstra– tton is available and space ts limited. The registralton fee ts $60 per player. which includes lunch and a showcase T·shirt.
