fanned 14 batters through seven innings. He allowed five hits. Leading the EC offensive attack in the 8-4 victory were Vincent Kortbawi and Darmaal Moore. Kortbawi belted a double and a single and Moore had two singles. Lefty Pervis Mann got the vtctory, allowing four hits in six innings. He fanned seven.
