EC's next class focused on district players

When Anderson became the bead football coach at East Central Community College in December, he prom– ised his recruiting focus would first be on the teams and player in his district. Signing day came last week and Anderson proved to be true to his word as 22 of the first 27 players signed came from schools in the district. 'We are very pleased with our recruiting class," Anderson said. "We stayed in our district and signed some outstanding football players. They are going to come in and help our pro– gram." Leading the pack will be Brandon Willis, Philadelphia High School's 2,000-plus rusher. Another Tornado signing with the Warriors was lineman Julian Riddle. Nesboba Central line- . man Justin Kilpatrick and quar– terback Jonathan Cantrell also signed with ECCC, as did Choctaw Central's Caleb Logan. Representing Scott Central will by Jimmy Broomfield, Chris Ficklin and Dominique Strong. Louisville High School is well represented by Cottrell Miller, Tate Rogers, Jimmy Owens and Jordan Christian.
