Gatlin Joins ECCC Practical Nursing Faculty AliciaA. Gatlin ofMonon is a recent addition to the Practical Nursing faculty at East Central Community College in Decatur, announced ECCC President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin. Prior to joining the ECCC staff, Gatlin served as di– rector of emergency services, assistant director of nursing services and director ofpatient registration at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton. She has also held nursing assistant and technician positions in various healthcare facilities. A.graduate ofMorton High School, Gatlin received an associate's degree in nursing from ECCC in 2006 and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University ofSouth– em Mississippi in 2008. She also holds an associate's degree in computer science from ECCC. In addition, she has attended Hinds Community College and Mississippi State University, where her focus was on Internet security, computer graphics and web design. Gatlin currently serves as vice president of the Dis– trict 15 Mississippi Nurses' Association and is a member of various other nursing organizations. She has two children, Cody, six; and Caley, three.
