.Berry to speak at ECCC banquet East Central Commumty College will once agam usher in a new baseball season by holding its annual First-Pttch Dinner scheduled Friday, Feb. 5, on the Decatur cam– pus. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. in Mabry Memorial Cafetena. Scott Berry. first-year bead baseball coach at the Universtty of Southern Misstss1pp1, will serve as guest speaker. Berry succeeds his former boss and longtime head coach Corky Palmer, who retired after successfully leading the Golden Eagle program for 12 years.
