JUCO FOOTBALL EMCC places two on NJCAA All-American team, ECCC gets one spot from school reports East Mississippi Community College's Quinton Dial and Brad Henderson have closed out their standout junior col– lege football careers by being named 2010 NJCAA All-Ameri- cans, as announced lit Thursday by the NJCAA office headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colo. They were joined by East Central star Chris Ficklin. Dial, a defensive lineman. was selected to the NJCAA's second team, while Henderson earned honorable mention status as a quarterback and Ficklin was an honorable men– tion linebacker selection. A University ofAlabama signee from Clay, Ala., Dial ranked third on this year's EMCC team with 76 total tackles (46 solos and 30 assists), including 3.5 sacks and four other tackles for loss. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound sopho– more was also credited with two pass breakups, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery this past season. Dial previously collected 2010 'JCAA All-Region 23 and ~tACJC All-North Division accolade earlier this post– sea~on for the Lions.
