ECCC teams wrap up first semester action

Both the men's and women's basket– ball teams at East Central Community College went 1-1last week. The Warriors carry a from 6-5 record into the holi- combined days, while the Lady reports Warriors are 4-7. The EC teams a re off until January 11 when they host Northwest Mississippi Community College. Orton made 12-of-22 field goals and connected on 10-of-13 free throws. She was also credited with seven rebounds. Hawkins poured in 25 points and led the Lady Warriors in rebounds with eight. She made 10-of-19 field goals. Quentinette Odom had nine points, Shana Ward had seven, Kurlysha Bell six. and Shanequa Bufkin and lnessa Adam four each Carey led Jones with 37 points.
