ECCC splits with EMCC Decatur- East Mississippi improved to (&-1) on the season as it pulled out a 78- 75 squeaker Monday night in Decatur. The Warriors (3-4) trailed by only one point with 10 seconds left in the contest. However, a blocked shot on an Antonio Grace shot sealed the win for the Lions. East Mississippi was led by Coco Ware's team high 19 points. Also getting in on the scoring action were Marino Thompson with 17 points and Anthony Alexander with 14. East Central also had 3 players to reach double digits as Kenneth Thomas had a game high 24 point effort. Antonio Grace dropped in 23 and Titus Mims scored 10 in the loss. This was the second time East Central has lost to the Lions on the season. East Central will travel to take on Northeast Community College Thursday. East Mississippi will also hit the road as they take on Marion Military Institute tonight. - Dantel R•&cloo
