Ruby Moore accepts the diploma ofl1er daughter. the late Dasmine Shepard of Forest, from East Central Community Col ege President Dr. Phil A. Sutphin at the recent 2009 GED Graduation Ceremony on the Decatur campus. Shepard was 17 years old when she was killed In en automobile accident one month prior to the July 23 program. She was a former student at Lake High School and planned to major in sociology at ECCC. ApproXImately 75 students received GED diplomas at the annual event.
