ECCC names Homecoming Honorees for 2009 seasou Homecoming honorees for 2009 were recently announced at East Central Community College and will be among spe– cial groups recognized at the annual celebration scheduled Saturday, Oct. 3 on the Decatur campus. Mary Rosalyn Rogers Folks (Class of 1964) of Picayune and Jack H. Winstead (Class of 1956) of Lawrenc~ were named Alumna and Alumnus of the Year, respectively, and Donald Acton (Class of 1953) of &loxville, TN and Wanda Blackwell McPhail (Class of 1971) of Collinsville are slated for induction into the College's Athletic Hall of Fame, accord– ing to Stacey Hollingsworth, executive director for founda– tion and alumni relations. Hollingsworth said various alumni groups will also be rec– ognized, including members of basketball teams coached by J oe Clark (1964-197(11 and Marty Cooper (1991-19!1$); and cast members of d<.'Ragnated musicals directed by Bruce Peterson (Camelot, 1974; Marne, 1979; Carowwl, 1982; and Oklahoma, 1985). Reunion meetingH nn• sched– uled for th<' Class uf J!li9 and the combined Classes of 1 1958 and 1959, which 1 each year. Fiftieth anniver diplomas will be presente the 1959 Class by E1 President Dr. Phil A. SutJ during a ceremony at 1 a.m. in the Vickers Fine . Center. w
