Five were ECCC students Five of the suspects were arrested on the cam– pus of East Central Community College, said DecatUI' Police Chief Joedy Pennington. Eric Wagner, 19, Taylor Booker, 20, Wess Compton, 21, Jamell Holifield, 20, and Donell McDowell, 23, each were charged with sale of a controlled ubstance, specifically marijuana. Compton was released Monday on a 820,000 bond, while the other suspects remained in custody Tuesday, each on S20,000 bond. Some may face addition– al charges for sale of a con– trolled substance within 1500 feet of a school, said Pennington. If convicted, they could face double the normal penalty under state law.
